The Indianola boys basketball team had their season come to a close last night in the class 4A substate 6 semifinal game against Waukee 76-49.

The Warriors size, speed, and strength simply brought too much offense for the Indians to handle as they fell down early and could not recover. The Indians got the lead down to 8 at halftime to trail 33-25 by winning the second quarter 14-12, but that was a close as it would ever get as Waukee scored 43 second half points. Quinn Vesey led the Indians with 17 points on the night, while Evan Gauger had 13. The Indians graduate a senior class of 8, and end with a record of 15-8.
