A Knoxville man was arrested on charges of burglary Wednesday.

Jacob Goemaat, age 20, was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of Burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony. According to court documents, a woman entered her home and heard an intruder leave out the back door, and found food had been cooked in the microwave and eaten on the table. A corduroy jacket had been left behind that was traced to Goemaat. He was booked into the Marion County Jail on a $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 8th.
