Former Pleasantville baseball standout Zeb Adreon is making his presence known at the next level with Southeastern Community College in Burlington.

The sophomore has helped the Blackhawks to a 15-5 start to the season in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and he has got it done with his bat. In 15 games, Adreon has compiled a .319 batting average, connecting on 15 of his 47 at bats including 11 RBI, five doubles, and one home run. His seven walks helped to a .467 on base percentage that ranks fourth on the team. He has made appearances at first base and outfield for the Blackhawks. Adreon helped Pleasantville to the state semifinals his senior season.

The sophomore and the Blackhawks will be back in action Sunday in their home opener against North Iowa Area Community College.
