Iowa District Two Congressman Dave Loebsack is running for a seventh term in the U.S. House.
Loebsack tells KNIA/KRLS News he feels like he has unfinished business in Congress, and aims to continue his mission of bolstering the rural economy and giving Iowans a voice in Washington D.C. He says he is currently focused on numerous issues ongoing in the U.S. House, and will wait until after the primaries are over to focus on campaigning. Dr. Christopher Peters is now the lone Republican officially challenging Loesback on the ballot, after Ginny Caligiuri failed to acquire the required amount of signatures.
Peters ran against and lost to Loebsack in 2016.
