The Well is seeking volunteers for Transform, a two-day volunteer event including numerous community projects in and around Pella.

The event will take place on May 11th and 12th, and features 17 projects in Pella, Knoxville and Oskaloosa. Executive Director Jayson Henry tells KNIA/KRLS News The Well is looking for volunteers to carry out those projects. In 2017, ACTS (A Call To Serve Ministries) and The Well merged together.

ACTS historically put on a one-day Service Surge. The work includes painting, light construction, and house repair, to landscaping, trash clean up and seeding. The Well is partnering with Lake View Camps, the city, homeowners, the aging community, clients of The Well, and other social service agencies for this event. Volunteers can serve both Friday and Saturday, or just one day.
