The Pleasantville boys’ track team was back in action yesterday traveling to Nodaway Valley.
The boys had a productive night finishing second out of 10 teams with 90 points, just two points shy of the champion Mount Ayr. The Trojans had three first place finishes including Gauge Van Haalen in the 110m hurdles (16.06), Brant Wilkins in the shot put (45’0.5’’), and the 4x100m relay team (44.82). Second place finishes include Chaz Clark in the shot put and the sprint medley relay team.
This was the final tune-up for the Trojans, as they gear up for the district qualifying meet Thursday at Van Meter.
