In a final tune-up before sectionals, the Pleasantville boys’ golf team traveled to New Sharon yesterday and finished second out of seven teams.
The Trojans finished second with 177 strokes in the nine-hole meet. Hunter Oliva led the way with a 43. Caleb Adreon cashed in on a 44, Mitch Harken and Isaac Roe rounded out the scoring with matching scores of 45. Ben Mott and Cory Stewart had non-counting scores of 47 a piece. Head Coach Joel Allman said the team played fairly well and he likes how they are trending heading into the postseason.
The Trojans will try to extend their season Friday when they host sectionals at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
