A Melcher-Dallas man reached a plea agreement with the Marion County Attorney’s Office to plead guilty on two counts of forgery.
Kyle Anderson was arrested in March for cashing numerous bad checks totaling $610 and charged with six counts of forgery, all class D felonies. The plea agreement recommends a suspended five year sentence, probation, and restitution while dismissing the other four counts. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for July 5th, where the defense will request a deferred judgment citing no previous criminal record.
