It was the first game of the 2018 campaign for the PCM baseball team last night hosting South Tama and the Mustangs started off on the right note winning 7-3.
The game was all notched up at 3-3 after four frames before the Mustang offense went to work for the opening day win. Wes Cummings was involved with much of the scoring going 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored. Dane Owens also had a pair of hits with one RBI. Noah Henkenius was solid on the bump throwing six innings of three run ball and four strikeouts. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the guys came out swinging and offensively did some nice things.
PCM will look to keep the momentum going tomorrow when they travel to East Marshall.
