The Pleasantville softball team continued their red hot start to the season last night when they hit their way past Southeast Warren 10-8.
The Trojans garnered 13 hits on the day led by Amber McKinney with three hits and three RBI. Kinzy McGriff also had three RBI on a pair of hits. The Trojans led 10-4 heading into the final inning when a late Warhawk rally made things interesting. Abbie DeJoode came in to record the final two outs and secure the save. Freshman Faith Vanderhart was the winning pitcher going five and a third innings while striking out four.
The Trojans improve to 3-0 on the young season and get back on the diamond tonight at Mount Ayr.
