HCI and the Knoxville Ministerial Association are teaming up to host a flag raising ceremony at the Marion County Courthouse Thursday.

Pastor Brent Hanna tells KNIA/KRLS News the goal of the gathering is for Marion County residents to come together in a patriotic and spiritual way and honor each other, the flag, and the nation. Hanna also said the event will present ways to bring the community together by celebrating common themes and having prayer uniting us, as we need more prayer in the world. The flag day celebration will take place at the Marion County Courthouse bandstand, beginning 12:15.
