The Knoxville School Board met in regular session yesterday.

The board heard reports from each of the schools and different programs the district runs. The board saw a presentation on the Iowa Public School Insurance Plan, approved a proposal to expand their special education department, approved repairs to the sewer at West Elementary, and renewed their agreement with K-ACT. The board agreed end their membership in the Iowa Association of School Boards, and renew their membership in the Rural School Advocates of Iowa among other organizations before adjourning into closed session to discuss contract negotiation strategies.
