A soccer camp for female high school players is set to be hosted by the Central College women’s soccer program on June 28-30.
The three-day camp has a registration deadline of June 21. Only open to the first 40 participants, six spots remained as of June 15. All 40 participants will receive a Central College Under Armour Dri Fit shirt. Central’s head women’s soccer coach Mike Kobylinski will serve as the camp director. The camp is structured for advanced players wishing to compete at a high-level collegiate program.
The goals of the camps are to prepare student-athletes for the demands of the college game and the framework for which they can develop those skills. Women’s assistant Kelsey Roxworthy, men’s goalkeeper trainer Greg Walter and Josh Alford, an assistant women’s soccer coach at Division II South Carolina-Aiken, will also be on hand to work with campers.
