As several major road construction projects in Marion County wrap up, Highway S45 and Highway T25, the Marion County Road Department will soon begin their county-wide projects; pavement marking and placing seal coat.
Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian tells KNIA/KRLS News the seal coat projects will focus on subdivisions and townships, while the pavement markings will be on all centerline paved roads. The projects are expected to last several weeks until completion, and will be hard to pinpoint when and where the construction will take place. Christian also said that the county has seen continuous major construction projects over the last several years, so for now the road department is scaling back their significant projects and focusing on minor repairs.
