Two runs in the top of the eighth by Southeast Warren spoiled an otherwise well-played game by the Melcher-Dallas softball squad in a 4-2 loss on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with Southeast Warren batting in the top of the eighth when the Warhawks drove in two runs which ended up being the difference. Emilie Krpan took the hard luck loss allowing four runs on nine hits, striking out four and walking none. Riley Enfield went 3/4 at the plate. Melcher-Dallas travels to Mormon Trail tonight.
