The Knoxville Public Library is hosting a college 101 course, with the goal of preparing students who are about to leave for their freshman year of college.
Dr. Heather Libby with the Knoxville Public Library tells KNIA/KRLS News the course will cover a wide range of topics, and will answer many of the big ones that incoming freshmen have such as how to build a social life, dealing with roommates, budgeting, dealing with homesickness, health and safety, and interacting with professors. Libby also said that those topics and many more will be covered in the course. College 101 takes place on August 8th from 6-8pm.
