After making its debut last week, Central College jumped to No. 20 in the American Football Coaches Association Division III coaches’ poll.

Central is now No. 20 after a 35-29 win over Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday. The Dutch are also among the top vote-getters outside of the D3football.com top 25. The Dutch had been out of the AFCA rankings since Sept. 26, 2016 prior to last week’s debut at No. 23. The Dutch, 4-0 in American Rivers Conference play, host Simpson College at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium for a league contest on Saturday at 1 p.m., a game that can be heard on both KNIA and KRLS.
