The high school volleyball postseason is officially underway and the PCM volleyball team will try to continue their 2018 campaign when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg tonight for a class 3A region 6 quarterfinal matchup.

The Mustangs closed the regular season 5-24 and were last in action Saturday at the Fairfield Invitational where they went 1-3 on the day. Celeste Wagaman leads the Mustangs with 102 kills on the season and Avery Stock has 152 digs. The Rockets stumbled into the postseason, losing 11 of their final 12 games to finish the year 10-21. Grace Roberts and Taylor Caves provide a solid one two punch offensively with 164 and 160 kills, respectively. Emalee Davis leads the defense with 263 digs.

The chance to move on gets started at 7 p.m. tonight at Eddyville-Blakesburg High School. The winner of the contest will face the winner of Chariton and Clarke on Tuesday.
