The Friends of the Library book sale is now underway at the Knoxville Public Library; from now through Saturday, a variety of books are on sale to help support the library’s efforts.

Roslin Thompson from the library tells KNIA/KRLS News the sale is important to their operations.

“The Friends of the Library book sale benefits the library in all ways, because the money comes back to us through the Friends,” Thompson says.

The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. each day; it continues until 8:00 p.m. tonight, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday and until 12 noon on Saturday.
