The offseason is officially upon the Pleasantville volleyball team after the Trojans capped off the 2018 campaign with a 4-19 record.
As with any team in the offseason the Trojans will continue to work on individual skill work, but head coach Joel Allman wants to address another area as well. He tells KNIA Sports athleticism needs to improve and that means being active in numerous sports.
“We need to develop as athletes. That means going out for other sports, getting into the weight room, competing with your teammates, and building a bond. Those are as important as developing volleyball skills.”
The Trojans will have holes to fill next year losing nine seniors to graduation.
