Governor Kim Reynolds led a rally of Republicans in Pella ahead of Tuesday’s election.

Reynolds and U.S. Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst, Lt. Governor Adam Gregg, State Auditor Mary Mosiman, State Senator Ken Rozenboom, U.S. Congressional Candidate Christopher Peters, and Candidate for Treasurer Jeremy Davis all participated in the event at PPI Wednesday morning.

Reynolds’ main message was to encourage Republican voters to turn out to keep up “momentum,” for her agenda and in the Iowa State House.

“It’s great to have the team together, I love campaigning with all of our statewide congressional delegation–we’ve got a great story to tell, a lot to be proud of, but I talk to say we’re not done-we’re just getting started,” Reynolds says.

Grassley tells KRLS News he’s supporting Reynolds and Republicans in the Iowa Statehouse to ensure a continuation of the party’s platform over the next two and four years.

“I think the record of 12 years of Democratic governors leaving the state in a fiscal hole, and now having the trust funds replenished under Republican governors and a surplus of $127 million–fiscal responsibility is what Governor Reynolds stands for and is required under our [state] constitution, and that’s why she ought to be reelected.”

Reynolds is running against Democrat Fred Hubbell and Libertarian Jake Porter for Governor, Mosiman is running against Democrat Rob Sands, Peters is running against Incumbent Democrat Dave Loebsack, and Jeremy Davis is running against Democratic Incumbent Michael Fitzgerald.
