The Knoxville City Council and the Marion County Board of Supervisors will hold a special joint session on Monday night, to discuss a memorandum of understanding between the two government bodies concerning the VA campus.

The joint meeting will convene at 5:00 p.m. in the Knoxville City Council Chambers; both parties are expected to discuss and possibly take action on that memorandum.

This special session will precede the regularly-scheduled Knoxville City Council meeting at 6:15 p.m. On the regular city agenda is a request to appoint Assistant City Manager Heather Ussrey as the interim City Clerk.
