It wasn’t a good week to be a snowman in Marion County.
Everyone else, though, enjoyed high temperatures and sunny skies making their way across the area, which did create some soggy-road problems in Knoxville, such as the construction area of Robinson Street (above photo). Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says the freeze and thaw cycle has rendered that area in very poor condition, and encourages residents to avoid the construction zone when driving until the city evaluates the street’s condition.
