A halftime deficit of six points was turned into a six point win for the Simpson Storm men’s basketball team as they picked up their first victory of the 2018-19 season.
The Storm led by one late and extended that lead to four on a Tyler Stumbo three pointer, followed by them making their free throws late to seal the win. Guard Ben Rajewski scored a career high 19 points including going 5-6 from long range, with Conor Riordan scoring 16 and Stumbo scoring 13 off the bench. The Storm even their record to 1-1 on the season, and will next compete in a tournament in Chicago on Friday.
