Mallory Hartgers with the Pella Medical Clinic was selected as October Shining Star by co-workers at Pella Regional Health Center.

The Montezuma resident was nominated based on her work as a nurse with new and expecting mothers. Shining Star is a recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding behavior. Hartgers will receive $100, a plaque, and will automatically be nominated for the Shining Star of the Year award.
