The PCM basketball teams closed out a tough three game road trip last night at Gilbert and fell in a pair of contests.
The Mustang girls hung tough for a while only trailing 14-10 after the first but couldn’t sustain the momentum and fell 56-22. Regan Freland led the team with nine points. PCM falls to 2-4 on the season.
In the boys’ game, the Mustangs trimmed a 12-point halftime deficit to three in the third but couldn’t complete the comeback losing 70-59. Reed Worth had another big night with 28 points and Andrew VanRyswyk added 10. The Mustangs drop to 2-2 on the young season.
Both teams are back on the court Tuesday hosting Greene County.
