The new RACOM tower next to Pella is online.

The 430 foot structure is now providing radio coverage in Pella, as well as Marion, Mahaska, and Jasper Counties. Pella Police Chief Robert Bokinsky tells KNIA/KRLS News the new tower provides additional assurance to all area first responders to make sure life-saving communication lines are open.

RACOM radios are part of the Shared Area Radio Agreement (SARA) Network.
