A winter storm system may bring moderate to heavy snowfall to most of the state today.
According to the National Weather Service, totals between 3-6″ are possible through the evening in Marion County and the surrounding area.
Snowfall rates over an inch per hour are expected as well, which will reduce visibility. The National Weather Service does not anticipate drifting snow or gusty winds, but roads will still likely be slick and snow covered.
