A final review of the upcoming academic calendar is on the agenda of the Pella School Board at their work session today.

The board will look to approve the 2018-19 calendar, with a draft that has school starting next year on August 23rd and ending May 31st, with the district counting hours of class time as opposed to days.

The board will also have special training during the work session, focusing on the ethics of serving on a school board. Their meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Pella High School Main Office Conference Room.
