After taking care of business against Colfax-Mingo on Saturday in first round regional action, the Pleasantville Trojan girls basketball team will face rival Martensdale-St. Mary’s tonight in second round regional play.
The Trojans face the Blue Devils for the third straight year in a row in the postseason, with the two splitting their matches 1 apiece. The matchup will also be the third time this season that the two conference rivals will face off, with Martensdale getting the better of Pleasantville in both previous games. The Trojans will look to get the same production off of their bench as they got on Saturday as they got 23 points from non-starters. Action can be heard tonight on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA, with pregame at 6:45 and tip-off at 7pm. Andrew Swadner and Tom Wilkins will be on the play-by-play.
