Due to a string warm weather days in December and projected high temperatures in January, the new ice rink at Pickard Park in Indianola is not available for public use.

Indianola Parks and Recreation will open the rink for skating once a stretch of several days with daytime and evening temperatures below 32 degrees occurs, in order to build a thick layer of ice. Indianola Parks and Rec is also asking for everyone to stay off the ice while the rink is closed.
