The Storm basketball teams completed the 4-0 season sweep of the Spartans of Dubuque Saturday afternoon, in a pair of games heard live on KNIA.

The Storm women played a sloppy first half, getting outrebounded 30-14 but still held a 31-29 lead at the halftime break. Head Coach Brian Niemuth stressed effort and turnovers in the second half, and the Storm delivered scoring 35 points in the third to blow the game wide open. Jenna Taylor scored 19 points and the Storm won 91-55 to improve to 16-3 overall and 8-2 in conference play. The Storm men weathered several Dubuque runs in the first half and had a 35 all tie to go into the halftime break. The Storm blew up in the second half outscoring the Spartans 40-27, with Conor Riordan scoring 19 and Adam Reiter grabbing 17 rebounds. The Storm men improve to 11-7 overall and 5-5 in American Rivers Conference play. Next up for both Storm squads is Wartburg on Wednesday.
