The Indianola basketball teams will make the trip to Dallas Center-Grimes this evening, braving the cold for a Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader.

The Indianola boys fared well when they last met DCG, taking down a gritty Mustangs squad 71-56 behind a combined 43 from Evan Gauger and Quinn Vesey, with an additional 12 from Garret Aiello. Indianola currently sits entrenched in fourth place in conference play, with matchups against Pella and Oskaloosa looming. The Indians girls have a chance to get back on track in the conference after falling to Pella Christian on Friday, but will have to climb back against a DCG team that topped them 62-51 in their previous matchup. The games tonight can be heard on the KNIA2 stream on KNIAKRLS.com, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the play-by-play. The games have been moved up to a 4:45 start, with pregame coverage beginning at 4:30.
