The public is invited to an open house which will feature details concerning the Knoxville Area Transportation Location Study; and residents are encouraged to come and ask questions.

The Marion County Road Department is hosting the event, which will be in the training room at the Marion County Public Health Department on Wednesday, February 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The county and the cities of Knoxville and Pella are joining the Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance in conducting the study, which will concentrate on developing a roadway corridor to handle their transportation needs.

There will be no formal presentation; exhibits on display will provide information, and experts will be on hand to answer any questions the public may have.
