The Indianola girls basketball team, playing their third game in three days, ran out of gas in a 71-60 loss to Sioux City West Saturday evening on their home court. The Indians held the lead for the majority of the first half but couldn’t pull away, leading 20-14 after one and 38-35 at the halftime break. The Wolverines started to come back and take the lead in the second half however, pulling away late for the final double digit margin of victory. Lauren Blake paced the Indians with 24 points, while Mara Bishop put in 11. The Indians have now lost four in a row to bring their record to 7-10, and will hit the road to Oskaloosa on Tuesday.
