The Simpson College Vivo Chamber Players will have two performances tonight at Lekberg Hall in the Amy Robertson Music Center. The Vivo Chamber players are a group of the Simpson Music Department faculty and local musicians, with the concert used as a way to say thank you to the college and community. The performance will be orchestrated by Dr. John Benoit, and will accompany the silent film “The Mothering Heart”, as well as a performance of Mother and Child by the strings musicians, and a wind trio piece. The first performance begins at 7pm, followed by a reception and intermission, with the second performance beginning at 8:30.
