The new site for The Well in Knoxville will begin accepting donations for its thrift store on Monday.

The Well is opening a new store and ministry assistance location at the Events Center located at 404 West Pleasant Street; they will be accepting donations on Mondays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until renovations to the building are finished.

Mike Moats is a Knoxville resident and retired educator; he says with Goodwill about to close down, it will be helpful to have a location where people may donate used clothing and other items.

All items will be stored off-site until the new center is ready for use, which should be sometime this spring.
