The Indianola Public Library is hosting an event tonight for teens who don’t want to celebrate Valentine’s Day the conventional way, the Anti-Valentine’s Day NERF Attack. Alison Brown with the library tells KNIA News this is one of those events where it is non-stop fun.
“The kids just enjoy this so, so much, and we have a ton of laughs the whole time. We’ll play different games, it’s pretty loose and we generally do what the participants want. I do have to say we have some rules, those who are coming can’t bring their own NERF weapons or darts just to keep everything on their own playing field. So we have NERF bows, and some of the darts whistle and do other things, and the kids just get a kick out of doing something new.”
