This year’s 30th annual induction ceremony for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame will be held on Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st.
Eight inductees will be celebrated for their contributions to the sport, with ceremonies over the course of those days; Friday night will feature a screening of the documentary “The Legend of Stan Bowman” in the Hall of Fame and Museum’s second floor at 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Then on Saturday at noon, the formal induction banquet will be held at Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds; afterwards, inductees’ families and friends will be invited back to the museum for the unveiling of their plaques. The day will conclude with an evening of racing at the Knoxville Raceway.
Tickets are on sale at $25 each.
