The Indianola School Board meets in regular session this evening. The board will hear an update on potential solutions for making up the remaining hours in the school year that have been lost to cancellations. The board previously extended the school year by two days, but the district is still behind the required hours due to school being cancelled on February 5th and subsequent delays. The board will hear a presentation from new teachers in the district on the New Teacher Mentoring Program, and hear reports from the board curriculum committee and board finance committee. The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the boardroom at the school administration building.
