A pair of events will be held today to celebrate the opening of LaunchPad 65 in partnership with the Emergent Simpson College Program, a new effort to bring innovators and entrepreneurialism to Indianola. From 2-4pm, the Emergent Foundation at Simpson College is hosting an Innovation & Technology Showcase to spotlight several technologies and faculty-led STEM projects at Simpson College and in the greater Indianola business community. Terry Pauling with LaunchPad65 tells KNIA News the showcase and ribbon cutting is just the beginning.
“The showcase will have an opportunity for people to see the innovation that has already taken place and the progress that has been made for helping entrepreneurs. With the ribbon cutting, we will show off Salem Connection and people can show up and see what type of possibilities exist and how we can help them in the future if need be.”
The open house and ribbon cutting that will follow the showcase will be at Salem Connection taking place at 4:30pm, with the open house going until 6pm.
