The Pella School Board reviewed the 2019 Certified Budget at their meeting Monday. They continued where they left off at the end of Thursday’s work session, ahead of a March 25th public hearing to certify the numbers. Included in the presentation was the proposed school tax levy, which is $14.76 per $1000 of valuation, a decrease from the current rate of $15.19, where it has been for the last three years. The board also approved the district’s health and dental insurance renewal proposals, and received updates from all district administrators about the latest in their buildings.
