A pair of ribbon cuttings were hosted by the Indianola Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, with LaunchPad65 and Salem Connection celebrating their partnership. Over 60 entrepreneurs and innovators started the day with an Innovation and Tech Showcase at Simpson College making presentations on ideas and new businesses. The ribbon cutting followed for the businesses at Salem Connection, with partners Terry Pauling and Todd Kielkopf telling KNIA News that Salem Connection provides the space for startups and for people to work on their ideas, while LaunchPad65 provides the resources for innovators take the next step. The chamber is hosting their fourth and final ribbon cutting of February this afternoon, at Central Iowa Orthodontics at noon.
