
One of the hardest things to quantify on any athletic team is the intangible qualities brought by certain members. For the Indianola boys basketball team, those intangibles were brought by senior post players Garrett Aiello and Matt Deike. The pair combined for 132 rebounds on the season and 7.4 points per game, but head coach Brett Watson tells KNIA Sports it will be harder to replace the stuff that doesn’t have numbers. The Indians went 16-5 on the season.
