Moderate snowfall could impact the region throughout the day Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, 2-5″ of snow is possible in Marion and Warren Counties with snow beginning Thursday morning and potentially transitioning to a mix in the late afternoon. Travel will likely be hazardous, especially during the evening commute if the current forecast holds. There could be some shifting in overall snowfall amounts as well, especially as meteorologists fine tune the models they use for prediction.
