There will be a touch of springtime tomorrow at Knoxville High School; the “Spring Into Health” kids health fair will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the high school commons, hosted by Knoxville Hospital and Clinics.

There will be over two dozen vendors on hand with various exhibits meant to encourage good health and outdoor play for children. And there will be at least one valuable education tool for adults, to alert them to what their teenagers may really be up to.

The “What to Watch For” trailer will be set up at the high school; Katrina Nelson from Knoxville Hospital and Clinics tells KNIA/KRLS News this exhibit will give parents tips on how to spot hiding places or other signs of illicit activity involving their adolescents.

“This trailer is designed to simulate a typical teenager’s bedroom; parents will be able to learn the meanings of signs, symbols and clothing, common hiding spots, and then other precursors that can be a tipoff as to otherwise unsuspecting parents,” Nelson says.

The fair is free of charge, and there will be food provided; you can also enter a drawing for a chance to win a free children’s bicycle, complete with helmet, and other prizes.
