More accolades are coming to local girls basketball players, this time for their work in the playoffs. Pella’s Emily Holterhaus was selected to the Class 4A Region 8 team. Pella finished in the substate round against Grinnell for the second consecutive season. Katie Keitges was also honored on that team. Both were Class 4A All-State selections. PCM’s Regan Freland was named to the class 3A region 7 team. This is the third recognition of the week for the junior who led the Mustangs in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
