Five Indianola High School boys basketball players were awarded with Little Hawkeye Conference Honors recently, as the boys basketball season has finally come to a close. Making the first team were seniors Evan Gauger and Quinn Vesey. Gauger’s point output was 2nd in LHC play, just .6 behind Norwalks Bowen Born. Making the second team was junior Tyce Johnson, who averaged 9.9ppg and led the team in three point shots made. Earning All-conference Honorable mention were junior AJ Toigo, and senior Matt Deike. Toigo put in 6.5ppg, while Deike was a key piece off the bench and the starting 5, averaging 4 points per game and often guarding the other teams post player in a smaller Indianola lineup. The Indians went 16-5 on the season.
