Habitat for Humanity of Marion County will be conducting an open house at the first home moved by Habitat in Pella. In the fall of 2017, Shelley and Derek Bradfield donated a home they owned to Habitat for Humanity of Marion County. This was a first for the local affiliate and has generated significant interest, according to Habitat Director Robin Pfalzgraf. Habitat will be opening the home to the public to tour on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 19th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at 402 East First Street in Pella. Bruxvoort’s Decorating Center will be staging the home so the community will get a real “live in” feel, and whatever is on display is also available for purchase. The homeowner will be making the Habitat home her own in April.
