Throughout the course of their 2018/19 schedule, the Indianola girls basketball team played well against teams with losing records, but have work to do against winning teams if they want to improve their record in 2019/20. The Indians fell twice to conference leaders Grinnell and Dallas Center-Grimes, and once to Pella, while splitting their series against Pella Christian. The Indians did however take care of business against teams that finished below them in the conference standings, sweeping Newton, Norwalk, and Oskaloosa. In non-conference, the Indians fell to Southeast Polk, Lewis Central, Urbandale, and Sioux City West, which led the Indians to their 9-11 record. Indianola returns all but three seniors for next season.
